It’s almost the weekend! According to the weather guys there could be snow on Sunday. How much snow? LOL! Nobody seems to know. Stay tuned to Enid Buzz and I’ll keep you updated on closings and road conditions if we do get snow.

Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow, meaning an early spring is on the way according to his Groundhog Day prognostication.

Mayer David Mason talked about the movie theater in his speech last week. Unfortunately the update was that there is no update. Hopefully there will be a confirmation on the project within the next two weeks. On a good note, he did bring up plans to make Enid a Sports Hub with a brand new sports complex. The Cummings Agency Grand Opening

Twisters Movie Trailer

The $200 million blockbuster “Twisters” will drop its first trailer during the Superbowl on Sunday! This movie is considered a reboot of “Twister”, not a sequel. The movie was filmed in Oklahoma and areas around Enid will be in the film. A couple of us from Enid were extras in the shoot in Chickasha. It was the largest movie set I’ve been on. Watch for a scene of a destroyed neighborhood with a search and rescue guy in a yellow hard hat. We got to work with Daisy Edgar-Jones, Anthony Ramos and Glen Powell. “Twisters” comes to theaters July 19, 2024.

Land Run Steakhouse To Close

Land Run Steakhouse will be closing Saturday, February 17. They will be announcing something coming in the next few weeks.
