The 4th of July is just next week and there will be plenty of celebrations going on. But! There are also several early events happening in the Enid area plus there’s a BIG Air Show at Tinker this weekend being highlighted by the USAF Thunderbirds!

Area Fireworks Shows

There will be plenty of 4th of July celebrations around the Enid area. Here is a quick list. There are more details on the Enid Buzz Calendar.

JUNE 28

GOLTRY
Goltry will have a 4th of July celebration on Saturday, June 28.

JUNE 29

HENNESSEY
Hennessey will have their fireworks celebration on Sunday, June 29.

JULY 3

DACOMA
Dacoma will have their fireworks celebration on July 3.

FAIRVIEW
Fairview is having a Red, White & Boom celebration on Thursday, July 3.

MEDFORD
Medford will have their fireworks celebration on July 3.

OAKWOOD CC
Oakwood Country Club will have their members fireworks show on July 3.

JULY 4

ENID
Enid will have their celebration on Friday, July 4.

COVINGTON
Covington will have their 4thof July celebration on Friday, July 4. No fireworks show.

GARBER
Garber will have their 5K and celebration on Friday, July 4th.

HILLSDALE
Hillsdale will have their Firecracker 5K and Fun Run on the morning of Friday, July 4th.

KINGFISHER
Kingfisher will have their 4thof July celebration on Friday, July 4.

POND CREEK
Pond Creek will have their 4thof July celebration on Friday, July 4.

WAYNOKA
Waynoka will have their 4thof July celebration on Friday, July 4.

CARMEN
Carmen will have a 5th of July celebration on Saturday, July 5.

Hennessey Car, Truck & Bike Expo

July 4th Fishing Derby

The Annual Fishing Derby is coming soon! Registration will be at pavilion 4 (northside) beginning at 5 a.m. on July 4th. All participants must register and check in before going to their fishing post. Failure to register and comply by set rules will result in disqualification.

5:00 a.m. Fishing Derby Registration/Check-In
5:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. Fishing Derby
10:30 a.m. Final Fish Weigh-In
11 a.m. Biggest Fish Awards

Main Street Enid just announced a brand new event — the Painted Sky Arts & Music Fest — happening July 12th from 4–11 PM — made possible thanks to a generous grant from Park Avenue Thrift as part of their $5 million milestone celebration! This free, family-friendly festival will showcase incredible local and regional musical acts, artists, food trucks, water games, and so much more. They’ll end the night with a DJ and FOAM PARTY you won’t want to miss!

• JULY 12-13
Remote Area Medical (RAM), a major nonprofit provider of pop-up clinics delivering free, quality dental, vision, and medical care to underserved and uninsured individuals, will host a free, two-day clinic in Enid, Oklahoma on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Stride Bank Event Center at 301 S. Independence.

The clinic is open to anyone in need of healthcare services, and no identification, insurance, or proof of income is required. All services are provided free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis. More details at https://www.enidbuzz.com/free-medical-clinic/

• AUGUST 28
