Wow! Last weekend was packed with more things than I could keep up with. This weekend has lots to offer as well.

The autumn equinox begins on Monday, September 22. Are you ready for fall? According to some weather forecasters next week may feel like fall.

AND!!! Cleveland is open from Chestnut to Willow! Only two lanes at this time but it looks great. There are also sidewalks on both sides of the street!

City Hall To Close For 2 Hours On Sept. 23

Training for City of Enid Staff on Tuesday, September 23 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., the City will conduct training for administration staff at City Hall - Martin Luther King Jr. Municipal Complex, 401 West Owen K. Garriott, Enid, Oklahoma.

During this time, the facility will be closed to the public for approximately two hours.

Online services will remain available to residents during the two-hour training.

How many people can say they got a tattoo at a museum?! The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center is excited to offer Tattoos at the Museum: Part II on Friday, September 19, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. inside the museum!

The popular event returns, offering flash tattoos by six tattoo artists from Culture Tattoo of Enid and Apothika Tattoo of Enid! The cost to attend the event is included with the regular price of museum admission! Those seeking a tattoo must be at least 18 years old and have a valid ID.

Flash tattoos are a separate fee payable to the artist. All appointments are on a first come, first served basis. Culture Tattoo and Apothika will accept cash and card payments. The Heritage Center does not have an ATM, so come prepared!

• SEPTEMBER 26
Relive the Magic of Fleetwood Mac with Tusk! Get ready to experience the enchanting sounds of Fleetwood Mac as Tusk takes the stage on September 26th! Enjoy Redeemer's Annual Oktoberfest Celebration on September 27 from 11am to 2pm! Meals will be available for dine in or pick up. They will be serving meals of your choice of a Bratwurst or Polish sausage, and Verinika, German potato salad, sauerkraut, strudel and a drink. All of the food is homemade! Meals are $15 for adults and $7 for kids. Bierocks will also be available the day of the event.

• OCTOBER 18
It's not too early to start thinking about the Atwoods Ranch & Home Goods Halloween Pet Costume Contest on October 18th, 10 am to 2 pm. 5400 Owen K Garriott.
