WHAT'S HOT THIS WEEK

Visit the County Fair Sept. 11-14

The Garfield County Fair is September 11-14, 2025 at 111 W. Purdue. Join family and friends for a great time at the Garfield County Fair and Carnival. View agricultural exhibits and livestock shows. Sample delicious fair foods and enjoy many on-site vendors. Entry to the fair is free.

The Garfield County Fair gates are open Thursday thru Saturday 9am-8pm and Sunday 12pm-4pm.

The Garfield County Fair is bringing the Carnival back September 10-14. Open Friday 5pm-10:30pm, Saturday split sessions 12pm-5pm and 6pm-11pm, Sunday 1pm-6pm.

The Carnival wristband is $30 per person per session for unlimited rides. You can also buy fewer tickets. Take cash for the carnival.

Cherokee Strip Parade

The Cherokee Strip Parade kicks off Saturday, September 13th at 10:30am around the downtown square! Take your lawn chairs and find a great spot to see the longhorn steers, bands, floats, cars, dignitaries and more!

The Enid Bruins will be serving the yearly Indian Taco lunch on the courthouse lawn on Saturday, Sept. 13th as part of the Cherokee Strip Celebration. Same Enid Intertribal recipe for over 30 years. Saturday, Sept. 13 from 10:00am until they sell out. Indian Taco + a Drink $12.

Breakfast & Air Force Birthday Fly-In

Join pilots from surrounding airports as they fly-in and have breakfast on Saturday, September 13. The public is invited to watch them come in and land, have breakfast and watch them take-off. Fly-ins and Barnstormers all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet takes place from 7:30am to 10:00am. $10.99 for breakfast ($5.99 for kids 12 and under).

You are also invited to the Vance & AFA Air Force Birthday Red, White and Blue Fly-in on Sep 13 from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Celebrate the 78th birthday of the United States Air Force with planes, food trucks, bouncy houses, a concert and more!
