Champlin Pool Opens May 27

Champlin Pool will open the 2025 season with a Military Appreciation Kick-Off event on Saturday, May 17. Beginning Tuesday, May 27, Champlin Pool will open to the general public. Located at 400 W. Cherokee. More info at www.enidbuzz.com/champlin-pool-schedule/.

Lessons: Tuesday thru Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Lap Swim: Tuesday thru Friday, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Open Swim: Tuesday thru Saturday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Lessons: Tuesday and Thursday, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Individuals interested in swimming lessons, must register at Enid.org/swim.

Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

Letter carriers across Oklahoma will collect food donations along their routes Saturday, May 10 as part of the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Residents are encouraged to fill the donation bag, or any plastic bag, with nonperishable food and leave the bag by their mailbox before their letter carrier arrives on Saturday, May 10.

All nonperishable items are welcomed. Recommended items include peanut butter, canned tuna and chicken, canned fruits, pasta and canned sauce, soup and stew. Healthy food options are also needed, such as whole grain and low-sodium.

Multi-Sport Complex Master Plan Forum

A public forum will be held Wednesday, May 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. to gather community input on the development of a new Multi-Sport Complex Master Plan. This initiative is a significant step forward in enhancing recreational opportunities and supporting youth and adult sports throughout Enid. Stride Bank Center, Benson Ballroom.

Vacation Bible School Guide

It's almost summertime and that means it's time for Vacation Bible School. See a list of VBS's at www.enidbuzz.com/vacation-bible-schools/.

Advance Soccer Complex Playground

Playground Days at Advance Soccer Complex begin on May 21! Their playground will be open to the public on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays beginning at 9 a.m. 1526 S. Garland. This means:
- FREE PLAY on the playground
- Concessions will be open
- Walk the beautiful complex
- Enjoy lunch in the picnic area

All soccer fields are available to rent by reservation during this time as well.

Get out and enjoy some racing action and some great food from Okie-Dokie Dogs serving dinner from 4:30pm to 7pm-ish. Red Dirt RC Raceway is a 1/10th scale loose dirt oval racetrack for competition Radio-Controlled car racing. Located at 909 S. Boomer Rd.

Cocina de Miriam cordially invites you to join its grand opening on Monday, May 12th, at 7am. 920 W Oklahoma. Their menu will showcase an eclectic mix of American, Continental, and Central American breads, pastries, and desserts. Freshly made bread will be a staple in their sandwiches and also in their breakfast and lunch options. Handcrafted coffees will also be available to elevate your dining experience.

Mr Greek House Mediterranean Kitchen will be opening soon in Sunset Plaza in the former Costello's location. They are currently open in the Ramada Inn on W. Garriott. They also operate The Blue Greek Food Truck.
