The Local Buzz
Find out what's buzzing in and around Enid.
Happy Weekend BuzzHeads!
Spring has officially shown up in Oklahoma… and it’s doing what spring does best by keeping us on our toes. One minute it’s sunshine and patio weather, the next it’s storm clouds, wind, and talk of severe weather rolling across the plains. This is the time of year to keep an eye on the sky, stay weather-aware, and make sure you’re ready for whatever the weekend brings.
In between the wild weather, it’s also a great time to get out and enjoy Enid. Whether you’re shopping local, grabbing a meal at one of our hometown restaurants, or just getting out to support the businesses that keep our community going, weekends are a good reminder that local matters. Every burger ordered, every gift bought, and every stop you make around town helps keep Enid buzzing.
So as you make your plans, be sure to check the forecast, stay safe, and then get out and enjoy everything happening around town. We’ve got weekend events, things to do, places to eat, and plenty of reasons to spend your time right here in Enid.

LOCAL NEWS
New Sports Complex
The City of Enid has posted a video of the proposed sports complex that was just approved. This shot is overhead looking east. You can see the baseball fields, parking and playground. The area in the upper right is the current soccer complex. The road in the middle is going east and would come out by World Harvest Church. The bodies of water are currently dry. This current version does not show softball fields but it has been stated that movable fencing would be used on the baseball fields to incorporate those.
