The Local Buzz

Find out what's buzzing in and around Enid.

Happy Weekend BuzzHeads!

Summer is officially knocking on the door, and the kids are ready for freedom, fun, snacks, swimming, late nights, and anything that doesn’t involve homework. Around Enid, that means families are shifting into summer mode, calendars are filling up, and there’s plenty happening to kick off the season.

This weekend also brings a big spotlight to Enid as the NJCAA Division II World Series returns, bringing teams, fans, families, and a great baseball atmosphere to town. It’s always a fun time to see visitors in the community and cheer on some great college baseball right here at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

And of course, it’s Memorial Day weekend, a time for cookouts, lake trips, road trips, family gatherings, and the unofficial start of summer — but also a time to pause and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Keep scrolling for local events, updates, weekend happenings, and everything you need to know around Enid. Have a safe, fun, and meaningful Memorial Day weekend!
