Happy Weekend BuzzHeads!

Easter weekend is here, and it looks like Enid is heading into it with a little bit of everything. There’s a chance of rain moving in tonight, so keep that in mind if you’re heading to First Friday, ballgames, or last-minute errands to run. After that, it should be a busy weekend around town as families get ready for Easter gatherings, church services, egg hunts, and all the usual springtime activity. It’s also that time of year when the calendar starts filling up fast, the weather can’t quite make up its mind, and everybody is ready to get outside the minute the sun pops back out. As always, we’ve rounded up the latest events, updates, and things to know around Enid so you can head into the weekend prepared.

Take a look at what’s happening in Enid this weekend:!

BUSINESS BUZZ

Johnston Seed Co. Retail Store

As winter fades and green forage begins to return, deer are recovering from months of physical stress. Bucks are rebuilding body condition after the rut, and does are entering a critical period leading into fawning season. This is an ideal time to continue supplemental feeding programs. Products like Double Down Pen & Pasture deer feed help provide balanced nutrition and digestive support while natural forage continues to improve. Another key component of spring wildlife management is mineral supplementation. Deer begin replenishing nutrients lost during winter, and minerals play an important role in:

• Antler development
• Bone growth
• Reproductive health
• Overall herd vitality

Providing mineral sites near feeding areas or travel corridors can help support herd health throughout the spring and summer months.
