LOCAL NEWS

Park Avenue Thrift To Match Funds

Main Street Enid announces their matching campaign kick off for downtown Enid corner nodes. Thanks to the generosity of Park Avenue Thrift, every dollar donated to Main Street Enid's program, Keep Enid Beautiful, will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $48,373. Your support will go twice as far to strengthen downtown Enid and keep it welcoming for residents and visitors.

Rising costs for plants, materials, water, and maintenance put pressure on the Keep Enid Beautiful program. These landscaped spaces need steady funding to stay healthy and visible. Without continued support, these areas risk removal and replacement with concrete. Your gift helps keep color and life in downtown Enid.

Matched donations directly support the Corner Nodes—the floral and landscape features throughout downtown. Enid Landscape and Lighting maintains these spaces, handling planting, care, and ongoing upkeep that give downtown its clean, polished look.

Over the years, sustaining this program has proven to have its challenges with rising costs in material and upkeep. This revamp will help sustainability and cut costs by 2/3rds, while providing an upgraded look to these beautiful corner nodes.

Matching funds will be used to:

  • Upgrade outdated sprinkler systems for better efficiency

  • Plant long-lasting perennials that return each year

  • Improve drainage and provide ongoing maintenance

When you give now, you invest in downtown Enid’s appearance and long-term care. With Park Avenue Thrift matching every dollar, this is the strongest time to give.

You can donate by visiting https://www.mainstreetenid.org/keepenidbeautiful , mailing a check to PO Box 3001 or calling Main Street Enid at 580-234-1052 for more information.
