The weekly inside buzz on Enid, OK
Hey BuzzHeads!
I hope you are well! We’re less than a week away from Mother’s Day so don’t forget about mom on Sunday, May 14!
Tuesday, May 9 we will be voting on a sales tax increase to improve the county jail. The proposition calls for a 0.30%, or 30 cents for every $100 spent, increase to the county sales tax rate for 15 years. It would raise our sales tax rate to 9.4%. Precincts throughout Garfield County will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
