Hey BuzzHeads! Fall begins tomorrow! The temps are up and down but beginning to cool off. There will soon be dozens of Fall, Halloween and Shopping events. Get out and shop local and enjoy all of the fun things to do in our great city.
I want to give a shout out to the Enid AM AMBUCS for inviting me to speak to their group about Enid Buzz this morning. They are a great civic group doing good things for Enid.

Beach Boys Back In Enid

Outdoor Outlet Sale
Park Avenue Thrift’s Outdoor Outlet returns this year on Saturday, September 23rd from 10am - 2pm just west of Park Avenue Thrift, outside on 150 W. Park Street.
Park Avenue Outdoor Outlet is an outdoor fill-a-bag sale where you bring your own plastic grocery bag and fill it up with items that will be available for purchase at the event site. Clothing, housewares, media, linens, craft items, jewelry, electronics, hardware, and toys will be items for sale at the Outdoor Outlet. You are encouraged to bring your own plastic grocery bags, and whatever items you can fit in your bags will be $2 a bag.
There is no limit to how many bags you bring and fill. Cash/card accepted but cash preferred. Registers will be outside at the event so you can shop the Outlet then pay for your bag(s) at their outdoor checkout table. All items are first come, first serve, no holds, and all sales are final. Park Avenue Thrift asks that you do not take filled Outdoor Outlet bags inside the store.

Drop By The Oklahoma Gun Show
Oklahoma Gun Shows will be back at the Chisholm Trail Expo this weekend September 23-24 and it’s completely full! Stop by Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 10-4. Take your guns to sell, trade or get accessories. They are a small family owned business and they need Enid to support them so they can keep coming back! They give away a gun at every show!
Tombstone Tales
The Tombstone Tales Event produced by the Enid Cemetery Association will take place Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7. This has become a very popular annual event and sells out quickly. https://www.enidbuzz.com/tombstone-tales/
Riding along on the tour you'll travel back in time with Enid Cemetery Tombstone Tales. Enjoy the cemetery after dark as your guide stops at specified tombstones, where costumed re-enactors portraying historic Enid figures step out of the shadows to tell their stories.
Ticket price is $15.00/person and includes the tour only. Tickets on sale at the "Enid Welcome Center". For reservations, call 580.233-3643, ext. 1 or stop by 201 W Garriott. Only cash or check accepted.

Ribbon cutting will be at 4:30pm today. Stop by to see the large selection of new gift items including our Enid t-shirts.

Comedy Night - Get ready for an evening of laughter and entertainment as headliner Jon Carden takes the stage at the Gaslight Theatre tonight, with doors opening at 7:00 PM. General admission tickets are $10 online at bit.ly/EnidComedy23. Tickets also available at the door. Military personnel get a 10% discount when purchasing tickets at the door. A cash beer and wine bar will be available. All beverage sales will go to support Gaslight Theatre. Age restriction to 18 years and older. Proper identification may be required at the door.
Plainsmen Football - Enid hosts Jenks Friday, September 22 at 7:00pm at D. Bruce Selby Stadium. Stop by the Block Party at 5:30pm before the game.
Fly-In and Breakfast -Join pilots from surrounding airports as they fly-in and have breakfast on Saturday, September 23. The public is invited to watch them come in and land, have breakfast and watch them take-off.
