Cherokee Strip Parade

The City of Enid celebrates the town’s 1893 founding at the annual Cherokee Strip Celebration September 13-14, 2024. The parade takes place September 14, 2024 at 10:30am and will be filled with fire trucks, floats, cars, marching bands and the traditional Longhorn steers.

Braman - KISS frontman and Rock & Brews co-Founder Paul Stanley visited Braman Sunday to celebrate the grand opening of Rock & Brews Casino Braman's Rock & Rollers Slot Room. Enid Buzz was there to check it out and snag an interview. The 2,300 square foot slot room is equipped with nearly 80 Class II games. The decor is rock and roll inspired with murals and artwork. There is also a large throne which is decorated with over a dozen of rock ‘n’ roll’s most iconic guitars. Make the short drive to the Rock & Brews in Braman and check out the casino and restaurant.

Produce can include tomatoes, squash, potatoes, green beans, red onions, cucumbers and more. They also usually have a variety of seasonal fruits. The market may also have honey, eggs, flowers, pies, baked bread, jellies, dips, snacks and other foods.
