It’s Memorial Day weekend! The unofficial start to summer! Get out and have fun but be safe.
In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, the City of Enid Administration offices, Enid Animal Welfare, and Enid Public Library will be closed on Monday, May 27.
Additionally, the Enid Public Transportation Authority (EPTA) will not be operating, and the Recycle Center will be closed on Monday, May 27.
The landfill will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Meadowlake Golf Course will open from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
NOTE: All trash routes will remain the same for the holiday. There will be no changes to trash schedules.

Memorial Day Events
Enid’s Woodring Wall of Honor along with the City of Enid present Above & Beyond Memorial Day, a weekend tribute to honor our veterans. There are events on Friday at the World Series Opening Night, all day Saturday at the Museum in Oakwood Mall and Monday morning at Woodring Airport. 2024 NJCAA World Series
The 2024 NJCAA World Series will be May 25 through June 1 at the David Allen ballpark. College teams from across the nation compete throughout the spring season and then qualify to participate in the World Series by winning their regional and district tournaments. Beginning this spring, the tournament has expanded to include 12 teams, the 10 district winners and two at-large selections.
Friday, May 24, 6:30 pm, Opening ceremony, including National Anthem with military flyover, Veterans salute, and the annual Guns & Hoses softball game between Enid Police & Enid Fire.
Games are at 10 am, 1 pm, 4 pm & 7:15 pm Saturday-Tuesday, 3 pm & 7 pm Wednesday & Thursday. Championship game Friday, May 31 with the if-necessary game Saturday, June 1. See details HERE.
PrimeTime Sports Bar & Grill
PrimeTime Sports Bar & Grill will be opening Monday, May 27th from 4:00 until 10:00 pm (temporary hours)! 3710 W. Garriott.
SNB Pays for As
Four lucky students, between the 3rd and 12th grades, will be paid $10 for each “A” and $5 for each “B” on their Spring 2024 semester report card!
One additional report card will be drawn for our Grand Prize, a $150 Savings Account at Security National Bank!
Your report card must be turned in to Security National Bank by June 14, 2024 at 5 p.m. to be eligible for the drawing. In June, we will draw four report cards and those students will be paid for the final Spring 2024 semester A’s and B’s.

Champlin Pool Opens May 28
Beginning Tuesday, May 28, Champlin pool will officially open with the following operating hours:
Lap Swim - Tuesday thru Friday 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Open Swim - Tuesday thru Saturday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Farmers Market - Rowdy Stickhorse, 626 S. Hoover. Rain or Shine the market will open. Saturdays from 8am - Noon (NO EARLY SALES).
