Area Fireworks & Celebrations

There will be plenty of 4th of July celebrations around the Enid area. Here is a quick list. There are more details on the Enid Buzz Calendar at https://www.enidbuzz.com/events/

JULY 3

DACOMA
Dacoma will have their fireworks celebration on July 3.

FAIRVIEW
Fairview is having a Red, White & Boom celebration on Thursday, July 3.

MEDFORD
Medford will have their fireworks celebration on July 3.

OAKWOOD CC
Oakwood Country Club will have their members fireworks show on July 3.

JULY 4

ENID
Enid will have their celebration and fireworks on Friday, July 4.

COVINGTON
Covington will have their celebration on Friday, July 4. No fireworks show.

GARBER
Garber will have their 5K and celebration on Friday, July 4.

HILLSDALE
Hillsdale will have their Firecracker 5K and Fun Run on the morning of Friday, July 4th.

KINGFISHER
Kingfisher will have their 4th of July celebration on Friday, July 4.

POND CREEK
Pond Creek will have their 4th of July celebration on Friday, July 4.

WAYNOKA
Waynoka will have their 4th of July celebration on Friday, July 4.

JULY 5

CARMEN
Carmen will have a celebration on Saturday, July 5.

A BIG Thank You!

Thanks to all of you wonderful followers Enid Buzz just passed 50,000 Followers on Facebook! Plus there’s another 16,000 followers with Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube and the Enid Insider newsletter!

On top of all that, EnidBuzz.com continues to get 23,000 page views a month and 4.2 million post views on Facebook per month! So I’m reaching lots people!

Enid Buzz is also celebrating 20 years of business this year. In honor of your help in growing the business I will have a big announcement coming this month involving the chance to win up to $1,000!

In observance of Independence Day, the City of Enid Administration offices, Enid Animal Welfare, the Recycle Center and Enid Public Library will be closed on Friday, July 4th. Additionally, the Enid Public Transportation Authority (EPTA) will not be operating on Friday, July 4.

The landfill will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Meadowlake Golf Course will open at 7 a.m. and close at 4 p.m.

NOTE: All trash routes will remain the same for the holiday. There will be no changes to trash schedules.

LOCAL EVENTS

The 4th of July Celebration in Enid

The Independence Day Holiday celebration will kick-off at 5:00 a.m. with the Fishing Derby. A full list of Independence Day Celebration activities at Meadowlake Park are listed above.

Take the family and spend the day at Meadowlake Park. The train, carousel, Ferris wheel and other rides will be going from 3-9pm. Fireworks are at dusk.

• JULY 12
Main Street Enid just announced a brand new event — the Painted Sky Arts & Music Fest — happening July 12th from 4–11 PM — made possible thanks to a generous grant from Park Avenue Thrift as part of their $5 million milestone celebration! This free, family-friendly festival will showcase incredible local and regional musical acts, artists, food trucks, water games, and so much more. They’ll end the night with a DJ and FOAM PARTY you won’t want to miss!

• JULY 12-13
Remote Area Medical (RAM), a major nonprofit provider of pop-up clinics delivering free, quality dental, vision, and medical care to underserved and uninsured individuals, will host a free, two-day clinic in Enid, Oklahoma on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Stride Bank Event Center at 301 S. Independence.

The clinic is open to anyone in need of healthcare services, and no identification, insurance, or proof of income is required. All services are provided free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis. More details at https://www.enidbuzz.com/free-medical-clinic/

• JULY 22
Join the Stride Bank Center on the 3rd Tuesday of July and create a beautiful floral suncatcher using REAL pressed flowers.
